  • Erin Gibson - Board Treasurer

Life is full of God’s grace, provision, and constant motion at the Gibson home. Erin and Tim have been married since 2002. Together they have owned and operated Solomon’s Porch Café in Wilmore, Kentucky since 2004 (their first child, jokingly). They also have 4 living children Braden, Felicity, Morgan, and Cheyanne. The family lives in a circa 1900’s farmhouse and is cultivating a self-sustaining agricultural and mentorship ministry at Hopeful Hills Farm in Nonesuch, Kentucky.

Erin is a graduate of Asbury University, holding a B.S. in Sociology. Her ministry passions and giftings are seeking truth and discernment through prayer and God’s Word, compassion to “the fringe or cast offs” in the community, personal/relational ministry with employees and customers, and restoration of things and people others tend to discard.

In her quieter moments, Erin enjoys cooking, reading, gardening, thrifting, and crafting. As a family, the Gibson’s are in leadership and youth ministry at Oasis Community church in Nicholasville, KY. “Life and faith should always be a work in progress. God is faithful in continuing to give our family opportunities to demonstrate it.”
